Connie Gallippi


In 2013, Connie founded BitGive, the first Bitcoin 501(c)(3) nonprofit. She is the first female founder in the cryptocurrency space and an advocate for diversity and equal opportunity, working to advance the rights of women in the tech industry. Connie is passionate about practical philanthropic solutions for humanitarian work globally, leveraging Blockchain technology. Previously, Connie worked with environmental nonprofits in California for 15 years, in a variety of roles. Connie is a frequent public speaker on crypto-philanthropy, internationally. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Sierra Business Council and as a volunteer for several other organizations. She holds a BS in Natural Resource Management from Virginia Tech. When not in the office, you’ll find Connie skiing or paddle boarding around Lake Tahoe, CA.

Peter Rexer


A startup veteran from Silicon Valley; Peter is a software engineer, Product Manager, and Agile coach. He has written software and built engineering teams for more than 25 years. He was the first Platform Product Manager at Guidewire. He then led Box’s development of APIs. In 2015, he volunteered with a nonprofit that helps refugees. It opened his eyes to the needs of the nonprofit sector for better technology. Peter holds dual BS degrees in Physics and Electrical Engineering from MIT.

Becky Patterson


Becky has over 15 years of expertise standardizing financial reports for management, and developing and managing organizations’ budgets to achieve goals set by management and board members. Becky also has significant experience in operations and critical administrative functions to maintain efficient and effective business operations. Becky graduated with a B.S. in Accountancy from California State University, Sacramento.

Sole Canepa


Since getting her first computer at 15, Sole has been obsessed with technology and is bringing her expertise to BitGive. Started working in IT in 1999 for companies such as Telefónica, Microsoft, and Visa. Since 2007, she worked as Project Manager for an IT Startup where she discovered her natural quality as a project manager, customer service representative, functional analyzer, and scrum master. She studied Image and Sound Design at the University of Buenos Aires.

Abigail Bates


Abby has worked at the intersection of sustainable development and technology internationally for over 7 years. She’s excited to bring her experience to BitGive and is not afraid to roll her sleeves up and work on NGO on-boarding, data, translation, and recruiting — or learn something new — to ensure BitGive partners succeed. Passionate about leveraging partnerships and technology for good, she has worked with nonprofits and startups in Bolivia, Mexico, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, and the US. She holds a BA from Columbia University in Sustainable Development and Anthropology.

Jen Nickens


Jen offers 16 years of global corporate experience supporting Executives worldwide in the computer networking industry. Her well-rounded experience includes meeting planning, office management, arranging quarterly volunteer events, scheduling, dynamic organization, and event coordination – all the while being a friendly team player. Technologically savvy and an early adopter, Jen enjoys learning new software and applications. She is passionate about mentoring, training, coaching new employees, and documenting and maintaining office process.

Hannah Oreskovich


Hannah Oreskovich has been in the digital marketing world since 2013. She is the founder of On The Run Media, a female-owned and operated full-stack marketing agency supporting tech clients and personal brands worldwide. She has been involved in the blockchain and crypto industry since 2017, and enjoys working with clients who utilize technology for social impact. She is passionate about empowering women in tech, and is honored to be working with the largely female team at BitGive.

Nahid Ahmadi


Nahid Ahamdi is one of the mentor at Code to Inspire which is the first coding school in Afghanistan for Afghan girls, from August 2015 up to now. She graduated from Software Engineering Department of Computer Science faculty at Herat University on 2015. She taught as a tutor for two years in Computer Science faculty of Herat University and she worked as Web Developer on web projects for six mounts.
