Bob leads BitGo’s global expansion efforts, client services and solution engineering teams. His experience spans both financial services and technology at companies from Fortune 50 Corporations to venture backed startups. Bob joined BitGo from Hedge, where he was Co-founder and CEO. Hedge was acquired by BitGo in 2019. Bob also Co-founded Carneros Bay Capital, a technology investment studio.

Prior to Hedge, Bob was the Director of Strategic Partnerships for Dwolla, a payments startup. While there, Bob led partnership efforts with financial institutions, strategic clients and venture partners. He also helped pivot the company’s business model and build out a new sales organization that led to exponential growth in top line revenue for the company. Before joining Dwolla, Bob was Vice President of IP Strategy and Licensing at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where he worked across all lines of business securing competitive advantages for the company while leading partnerships with companies such as Google and other large technology firms. Prior to joining JPMorgan, Bob was a member of Visa’s Innovation Strategy and Partnerships group. Bob started his career in private practice at two Chicago law firms.

Bob holds a bachelor’s of science in legal studies from Ball State University and a master’s of IP management and markets from Illinois Institute of Technology. He also holds the Series 65.
